Yes, No-Tox™ is completely safe to use on sensitive skin. What makes it different is that it is non-toxin-based and therefore does not contain any chemicals which typically irritate sensitive skin. Having said that, everyone’s skin is different and we all have different allergies and intolerances. Therefore, if you have acutely sensitive skin, Dr Sharad recommends first conducting the ‘patch test’ where you apply our serums to a small patch on your arm on the inside of your elbow to test for any sensitivity reaction. If you have a reaction, please discontinue use.

No-Tox™ is different because it is a non-toxin-based anti-wrinkle compound which has a clinical trial based on real patients that was independently reviewed and published in the Journal of Clinical & Cosmetic Dermatology. Other brands may claim to have ‘clinical results’ but these will either be survey results or trials on collagen samples in a petri dish which don’t take into account lifestyle, skin type and climate factors. 

The No-ToxTM formulation contains active ingredients that are known to help skin in independent research: Vitamin C (antioxidant), Hyaluronic Acid (moisturizer), Niacinamide (reduces UV damage), and Copper Peptides (help produce collagen). Dr Sharad’s formulation differs from others in the relative quantity of these ingredients and sequencing of manufacturing to ensure that they are absorbed by the skin while retaining their effectiveness.

Our Eye Smoothing Elixir is specifically formulated to reduce fine lines and crow’s feet around the eyes, rather than targeting dark circles. Having said this, the formulation contains Niacinamide (which reduces UV damage) and Copper Peptides (helps with collagen production) that will help with reducing dark circles.

The formulation in our Eye Smoothing Elixir is not specifically targeted to reduce eye puffiness or eye bags. This is because the causes of eye bags are wide and varied ranging from seasonal allergy (sinusitis, hay fever, etc.), a salty diet (especially at night, causing fluid retention) as well as stress (e.g., crying). However, many of our customers have noticed a reduction in fluid retention after using our Eye Smoothing Serum given the number of active ingredients in No-Tox™’s formulation.

The Neck + Face and Eye Smoothing Elixirs both contain Dr Sharad’s proprietary No-Tox™ formulation. The main difference is the potency of ingredients between each elixir. The Eye Smoothing Elixir is a more gentle formulation given the skin around the eyes tends to be thinner and more sensitive compared to other areas of the face.

If you are using or Retinols or Vitamin C, you should use them at a different times of the day than when applying No-Tox™. This is because No-Tox™ technology Contains Copper Peptides, and Copper Chelates Vitamin C, so using any other Vitamin C products can make our formulation ineffective. 

Retinols can also inactivate some ingredient interactions in No-Tox™ so if you must use Retinols, we would recommend you use them several hours apart. We’re excited to announce, however, that No-Tox® has been approved for a major WHO-approved clinical trial against prescription grade Retinols.
